Welcome to the new Flute Loops blog, and I would like to introduce myself and to explain what I have got planned for this blog going forward.
My name is Lauren, and I'm currently working towards my Grade 5 Flute practical exam. The 'Flute Loops' blog has been created, as I couldn't get to sleep one evening a few years ago and I got to work on it the following morning.
I have designed everything from the layout and the logo myself, and it has taken me nearly two years of work to get to this point. I didn't want to launch the blog straight away, as I wanted it to be the best it can be before I launched it.
My aim is to work with voluntary collaborators who share a passion for the arts whether that be through theatre, dance, music and other forms of visual arts. But this will take time to grow and develop.
Over the coming months I have got planned posts from various different aspects of music, and I'm hoping to dive into the world of drama and theatre further down the line. But for now, I'm just focusing on posts to do with music and also writing theatre reviews.
I'm looking forward to seeing the 'Flute Loops' blog grow and develop over the next few years, as its something completely different to me and I've never attempted anything like this before.
